Seller's comments and description: i looked a long time before finding one that had not suffered amateur restoration work, or been neglected as so many of these cars have.

1969 jaguar coupe two seat. I'm the third owner and the previous owner had the car since 1975. The car has not been restored having most of the original paint. The car is number matching. The car has been touched up in spots over the years but the paint does show its age and some blemishes. Everything on the car works, except the clock and the a/c. A/c will need to be charged (the compressor does work). Car comes with tool roll, original jaguar keys, owners manual, and i do have the rest of a new carpet set that needs to be installed. This particular car is car # 887820 and body # v4886. There were only 7600 of the fixed head coupes made over an 8 year period and this maybe one of the most original and unmolested examples left. This car still maintains its original matching #'s drivetrain engine number r9159-r and gearbox box number eb 8336js. This car has had an exterior restoration that includes one repaint, all new bumpers and stainless trim, 4 new correct knockoff wheels, and new redline tires. The interior is completely original, but still in really nice shape. All instrumentation, gauges, and lights on the dash work the way that they are supposed to.
